PORTFOLIO FINANCE

This is one loan secured against a portfolio of residential properties. There are numerous benefits with Portfolio Facilities when compared to individual mortgages for each property:

■  Simple administration with only one loan instead of lots of individual mortgages

■  The rental income from the portfolio is added together so that higher yielding properties can unlock equity or support borrowing from lower yielding properties

■  Flexible fixed rates of interest to lock into low interest rates for a variety of terms

Funding is generally available up to 75 % loan to value. Typical Loan size is £500K to £25M+.
